For Empatico on Chrome, the sound will use your operating system’s default audio device. Here is how you can change the headset or speaker(s) you would like to use with Empatico.
Mac OS
- Select the Apple Menu and System Preferences:
- Select the Sound Icon
- Select the Output tab and choose the headset or speaker(s) you want to use. You should now hear the audio through your chosen headset/speaker(s).
Windows 7 & 8
- Right Click the speaker icon in the bottom right system’s tray
- Select Playback devices
- Highlight the headset or speaker(s) you want to use, click set Default, click OK. You should now hear the audio through your chosen headset/speaker(s).
Chrome OS
- Click on your account picture in the bottom right
- Click on the icon next to the audio volume
- Select the headset / speaker(s) you want to use.
Linux - Ubuntu 14.04
- Launch "System settings" from Launcher
- Select "Sound" and select the playback device from under the Output tab.
Windows - Vista
- Right click the speaker icon from the system tray
- Select "Audio devices" from the menu
- Under the "Playback" tab, highlight the headset / speaker(s) you want to use, click "Set Default" button, then click "OK" to set and dismiss dialog.
Windows - XP
- Right click the speaker icon from the system tray, and select "Adjust Audio Properties" from the menu
- Click on the "Audio" tab
- Select the headset / speaker(s) you want to use under "Sound Playback," then click "OK" at bottom and dismiss the dialog
